Enter the Commando Smooth—a Commando Head and a thin, slick coated running line integrated into one with a smooth, gradual taper. No longer will you feel a bump as the running line/Commando Head junction enters the guides. You won't feel anything at all, except a jarring strike as a fish attacks your streamer.

We listened to the requests of numerous Commando Head fans, and created a line that fishes even better than the original. I’m a huge fan of OPST lines, the 350gr Commando smooth is fantastic on the 6126-4 short Spey rod. The Commando Smooth fires pretty well as far as a head attached to lazar line and the ability to strip all the way to the rod tip minus the loop connection makes it a very slick operation. I couldn’t be happier with what I want/need out of a line system - longer range, short tight quarters etc, they do it all
